The owners of this modern penthouse apartment in Paddington were excited about stripping back the existing interior to its original concrete shell to bring
about a greater sense of the building’s structure and its context within central London.
The resulting design language combined stripped and painted concrete ceilings, commercial track lighting with the more modernist material palettes of the
kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen utilised nero marquina island counter alongside black Moroccan Zellige tiling to give classic textures, wonderful reflection
of lighting, and a reassuring quality of material.
