AND designed the IBIS Styles Warsaw Centrum in Poland.

The new-build hotel is located near the Vistula River. This proximity became our theme for the project by

establishing a conceptual ‘RIVER’ that flows through the ground floor space of the building setting up

‘river banks’ that allowed us to define the functions & activities of the public spaces using playful memories and

stories for guests to connect with during their short or longer stays.

The rooms take inspiration from the festival marquees that line the river bank at river regatta events. The bright

colouring of striped tents and awnings on regatta days have translated into
a family of different patterns that line

all surfaces of the rooms to create a fun tent-like hotel sleeping experience.

The hotel grand opening took place December 2018.
