Went to Venice to see this year’s Art Biennale and Damien Hurst’s
‘Treasures from the WRECK of the Unbelievable.’ Great trip!
AND won a recent competition by the ACCOR Hotel Group to design the new IBIS Styles Warsaw Centrum in Poland.
The hotel opening is planned for autumn 2018.
Fariba was invited on a trip to Mulhouse by Osram Lighting and Barrisol to visit their new shared showroom and Barrisol’s factory. The hospitality, their insightful seminars and guided tours were second to none! We were taken to Vitra Campus, Le Corbusier’s Notre Dame du Haut chapel in Ronchamp and Museum of Printed Textiles in Mulhouse.
January 2017 – POSNANIA awarded!
Posnania won the prize for BEST SHOPPING CENTRE at the “CEE Retail Awards 2016”. This is the 4th award won by Apsys’ new Polish flagship. Hurrah!
We are proud to have been the lead interiors & brand designers for Posnania, the new retail and leisure complex in Poznań, Poland.
Posnania, the largest retail development & investment in CEE,
opened on 19th October 2016.
ALLIANZ ARENA – Munich – VIP Lounge
Allianz approached us to look at the re-design
of their VIP Lounge in the Allianz Arena.
The works will be carried out in Spring 2017.
Modern Country House
We are applying for planning permission for a new country house outside London. The architecture for the new building will interconnect a modern version of the locally characteristic thatched roof structure with a simple flat roofed gallery volume, housing the studio for working, cooking and dining.
The building sits on a large green field site, to be landscaped in keeping with the family’s lifestyle.
ON SITE – Chelsea – GARDEN DESIGN
In one of the largest garden plots in Chelsea, the owners asked us to look at renovating their existing swimming pool and design a new adjacent pool house. Additionally, the existing basement studio with its subterranean window onto the pool will be refurbished to visually connect the lower ground court yard and entertainment rooms with the pool and gardens.
