Fariba Pentland – Architecture
Fariba was born in Tehran and educated in Germany and the UK, she graduated from Canterbury School of Architecture. Working in Germany until 1997,
Fariba managed and won a number of well-known architectural competitions whilst at Fitch RS, BRT and Kitzman Architekten in Hamburg.
After moving to London Fariba was approached by Virgile and Stone Associates to become their Director of Architecture, working on a variety
of high profile projects such as Allianz Arena VIP lounge in Munich, the Domus furniture mall near Paris, Mermaid Theatre in London,
Vetro restaurant for Oberoi Hotels in Mumbai, and the ‘Manufaktura’ retail and leisure complex in Łódź, Poland. Fariba was awarded the
DDC Gold Medal as a joint winner with Herzog de Meuron for her work on the Allianz Arena Stadium in Munich.
